About the band

From a rented storage unit in Los Angeles to arenas on four continents — and we still soundcheck like nobody is watching.

Guitars and keys resting in the Tapehollow rehearsal room

Since 2014

Loud on purpose

Tapehollow started the way most good bands do: four friends, borrowed gear, and a rehearsal space with no heating. Ten years later the rooms got bigger but the method never changed — write together, record live, and play every show like it is the last one on the poster.

Three studio albums, hundreds of shows, and a live record recorded in one take in front of a festival crowd. The new album Forgotten is the loudest thing we have ever made, and the tour behind it is the longest we have ever attempted.
